Privacy Policy

purrple tattoo is a private tattoo studio in Tel Aviv, Israel. The studio is the controller (database owner) responsible for the personal information collected on this site.

Information you give us when you fill in a form on the site or in an ad:

• your name, phone number, email address and Instagram handle;
• the design number you're interested in, your preferred placement and your message;
• your full name and phone number, if you submit a lead form (Lead Ad) in one of our ads on Facebook or Instagram. Meta passes these details to us only after you review and submit the form;
• anything you send us on WhatsApp, Instagram or by email.

Information collected automatically: IP address (stored by us only in hashed form, for spam prevention), browser and device type, pages viewed, visit times, how you arrived at the site (for example from an ad) and ad interaction data. This is collected with cookies, pixels and similar technologies — see section 4.

We do not ask for or collect payment details on the site.

• to answer your inquiry, schedule appointments and manage the design-claim process;
• to call you or message you on WhatsApp after you submit a lead form in one of our ads. This is the only purpose of the name and phone number collected in that form;
• to send you an email confirming we received your message;
• to operate, secure and improve the site and prevent spam and abuse;
• to measure how our ads perform and show relevant ads to people who visited the site or are similar to them (retargeting and lookalike audiences);
• to comply with legal obligations.

We will not send you marketing messages without your explicit consent.

The site uses cookies and browser local storage to remember things like whether you've already seen the intro screen. We may also use third-party measurement and advertising tools, including the Meta Pixel (from Meta Platforms, Inc., which operates Facebook and Instagram) and analytics tools.

Third parties, including Meta, may use cookies, web beacons and other storage technologies to collect or receive information from our website and elsewhere on the internet, and use that information to provide measurement services, target ads and deliver targeted advertising. Meta's use of this data is governed by Meta's Privacy Policy: facebook.com/privacy/policy.

How to opt out:

• in your Facebook/Instagram ad settings: facebook.com/adpreferences;
• through industry opt-out tools: optout.aboutads.info or youronlinechoices.eu;
• in your browser settings, by blocking or deleting cookies (some parts of the site may not work properly).

We do not sell or rent personal information. We share it only with service providers that help us run the site, and only as much as they need:

• Vercel — website hosting;
• MongoDB Atlas — database hosting (inquiries and site content);
• Resend and Google (Gmail) — sending and receiving email;
• Meta Platforms — measurement and advertising (Pixel, lead forms), plus WhatsApp and Instagram when you choose to contact us there.

We may also disclose information when required by law or by a competent authority, or to protect our rights.

Some of our service providers operate outside Israel (for example in the United States and the European Union), so your information may be stored or processed there. We choose providers committed to an adequate level of data protection.

We keep inquiries for as long as needed to handle your request and our relationship with you, and no longer than 3 years after your last contact unless the law requires longer. You can ask us to delete it sooner at any time (section 8).

Under Israel's Protection of Privacy Law, 5741-1981 (and the GDPR, where it applies to you), you may:

• access the information we hold about you;
• ask us to correct inaccurate or outdated information;
• ask us to delete your information;
• object to the use of your information for marketing and advertising, or withdraw consent you gave.

To request deletion or access, email hello@purrple.tattoo with the subject "Privacy request" and include the name and contact details you used. We will respond within 30 days. Requests to delete information collected through Facebook or Instagram are handled the same way.

If you believe we haven't handled your request properly, you may contact the Israeli Privacy Protection Authority or your local data protection authority.

We take reasonable measures to protect your information, such as encrypted connections (HTTPS), restricted access to the admin area and storing IP addresses only in hashed form. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, however.

The site and our services are intended for adults (18+). We do not knowingly collect information from minors. If you learn that a minor has given us information, contact us and we will delete it.

We may update this policy from time to time. The current version will always be on this page, with the date it was last updated.
